OG Sheep Micro 17g
5/5
I highly recommend this string for 2 reasons. First, its price is incredibly reasonable (especially in the 660 reel); if used in a hybrid set up, it'll cost you a little over a buck a racket ($35/33 string jobs=CHEAP). Second, the string performs the way I want it to; softens up the poly, while taking off a bit of its power. On another note, because it's so inexpensive, those that string their own rackets can inexpensively tinker with tension until you get the perfect blend. I work it with MSV Focus Hex 17, with the Gosen 2 lbs tighter. Just so you don't think I'm totally biased, I would complain a little bit about the string's durability. After 4 sets, the string gets a tad bit sloppy...but then.....POW...cut it out and throw in another half-set for an almost new string bed. You won't be disappointed....who could for just over a buck!?

Ok string

After reading many reviews from stringforum.net I bought this string. It is cheap, but it does not have a pop feel when it hits a ball. It has a recommended tension range of 50 to 60 lbs. I used it for my Head IGS Racquetball Racket at 28 lbs. It took about 6 hours to break it in. I would probably use it for cross with poly as the mains when I string my tennis racket.

good reliability, performance
4/5
Ive read many reviews on synthetic gut strings from technifibre, prince, wilson, then Ive read them 2 more times. ive tried them also on babolat aero pro team. These Gosen OG sheep micro 17g is my favorite, as they last a long time, and give great all-court performance. Ive got a hybrid setup with tour bite 17g on mains, and OG sheep on crosses. The strings never broke on me. Ive used these as crosses with 5 other polys, with good results.

Great for hybrids!
5/5
Using this as my crosses on pretty much all my hybrid set ups. I have not tested it full bed nor have i waited for it to break. I use alot of different set ups and i cut them after 2 sets or so!

Excellent value and performance!
5/5
I got this reel for cross string with more expensive multi/gut or poly mains. It provides soft and comfortable string bed feel to poly without sacrificing performance. Also full bed offers decent playability and durability. It is a good deal and value if you string by yourself.
