Replacing the K Factor Six-One 95, the all new BLX Six.One 95 offers Wilson’s latest BLX technology. The BLX Six-One 95 brings an enhanced feel to a racquet designed to address the needs of a wide range of competitive players. The midplus head, tournament level weighting, and new addition of Basalt fibers make the feel of the BLX Six-One 95 16x18 one of the most sought after in the tennis world today. As a derivation from Roger Federer's racquet, the power, response, and feel of this racquet make the BLX Six-One 95 16x18 the right choice for tournament players around the world. The addition of the Basalt fibers into the graphite matrix reduces unwanted vibration for a more comfortable feel. Although similar to the BLX Six.One Tour 90, the BLX Six.One 95 is more forgiving on mishits due to its larger head and wider beam width. This racquet is an excellent choice for NTRP 4.0 to 7.0 players. This racquet is a good fit for an all court style of play, but provides enough forgiveness to work from anywhere on the court.

Note: The BLX Six.One 95 comes in two different string patterns. This version, the 16x18, is a bit more open which will allow the string bed to bend a bit more on impact giving a slight edge in power and spin.

Note: Wilson does not provide a cover with this racquet. Please check out our complete selection of Wilson bags.

Great Raquet!
4.33333333333/5
I demoed this one with Wilson Hollow Core Pro 17 strung @55 lbs. The result is: Awesome!, awesome!, and more awesome! Groundstrokes felt very solid and smooth of both wings. Volleys, half-volleys, and overheads were hit with precision. Spins were very easy to generate. Racquet has good power. You can swing away, and the ball just drops in the court. Serving was unreal! I was cranking in serves with speed and spins! Accurate too! I was extremely impress at the lack of vibrations that I felt. I normally use dampeners(A "W") But, with this frame you really don't need to. Nice smooth hitting. I just wish the racquet was a little lighter; like an ounce or so. Overall this is a fantastic racquet! Easy to generate racquet headspeed . Wil NTRP-3.5

Fantastic Racquet!
5/5
I demoed the BLX Six.One 95 strung with Wilson Hollow Core Pro 17 @ 56lbs. All I can say is: Awesome!, awesome!, and more awesome! There is plenty of power and control. Groundstrokes were very smooth. Volleys, half-volleys, overhead slams were done effortlessly!. The weight of the racquet allows it to hit deep volleys at net. Serving was unreal! I was cranking serves with accuracy and spin. Topspin is easy to hit. Returns: Either blocking a ball back, or hitting with authority. it was smooth and precise, with good depth. I'm was very impressed at the lack of vibrations, and dampened feel of the BLX Six.One 95. Normally I use dampeners(A "W", or a yellow "smiley face"), but with this racquet, you really don't need one! So far I'm very impressed indeed with this one. Great job Wilson. After playing with the BLX Six.One 95 is no brainer to understand why this is a favored, and sought after racquet by the ATP Pros, and serious tournament players.

All of the countless hrs. I spend on the court, as once a player, but now as a competitive coach. This is one of the best racquets on the market. It has power, but also great feel from the baseline. It is 12.3 oz. strung, but is still very easy to move for quick volleys at the net. Great pop on the serve, very solid on returns. A true players racquet, beginners or very young players will find this racquet a little on the heavy side. Try this BLX with a hybrid string pattern. This will help bring out the racquets true feel even more.

Great stick, feels less solid than the older model K factor but still great. Maneuverability is that of a heavy racquet hence if you play a one handed backhand you will have to be able to follow though all the way and is harder for short back swingers. All in all a good stick

I demoed this racquet the other day, wondering what the difference would be between this and the K factor model. I felt as if this racquet produced more pace with my shots than with the older model, the K factor. However, I feel like the K factor model is more concrete, solid at hitting through balls. Overall, this is a nice racquet with good pace and control.

I played for 20 years with Head. Someone slipped this new BLX in my hand and I am now addicted! I ran home found Tennis Express got the best deal on the internet!!!! and now I cant wait to play the next time. I run a recreation department tennis program so playing time was always limited and golf became my game of choice. Since switching over to the BLX my golf game has taken a back seat. This racket I have compared to a new car, I had been playing with a 69 VW beetle and the new BLX is like driving a new Maserati. I was surprised by the combination of control and power. I am now able to make shots I used to let go just to avoid the frustration. If you are playing with an older racket now thinking it is good enough as I thought YOU are WRONG try the new technology and get your game back!

Excellent Racquet and Service from Tennis Express
5/5
I was looking to get a new racquet as it was about 10 years since my last one. I used to play competitively in high school but have only played on and off since then. I can generate my own power so I was looking for a racquet for great feel and control. I demoed 4 racquets from Tennis Express which has a terrific demo program that I highly recommend. After playing with a few different racquets it was clear that this was by far the best of the bunch. I have never enjoyed hitting the ball as much as I did with this Wilson. I thought the head size may be a bit small since I had a 98 before but not all, you can barely notice the difference. Occasionally I dont hit it in the sweet spot but that often that the head size would bother me. When you do hit it right in the sweet spot it feels amazing. I have been playing tennis for over 25 years and never played with a racquet that has given me so much pleasure hitting the ball.

Well what can I say besides the fact that I love this racket! I previously had the WILSON K Factor Pro.Six which was my first racket, but as soon as I got the BLX Six-One 95 I could tell the difference right away. I felt like I had better control over the ball and more of my shots we staying in, even the people I played with said I was hitting better. So if you are looking to get a racket with more control this is definately worth getting.

This is a great racquet! I used to play with a babolat which gave me good power but little control, but now that I am able to make my own power this is a great racquet! It was a little heavy when I first started but now that I am used to it I can place it anywhere and have more confidence in my shots.

After playing with all three previous iterations of the 6.1 95, I can honestly say that the new BLX has a much better feel than either of the first two and the first two felt fine. Also, the hybrid pro grip is exceptional. I have no idea what the basalt does or doesnt due but this racquest feels different and better than its predecessors.

I switched from a Pro Drive to the BLX six one 95. I found a significant increase in power without increasing racquet head speed. The increase was most notable on serving and returns of serve. With my old racquet, my kick serve would never hit the back fence in the air, but now my kick serve is faster and hits the fence 2 to 3 feet up on the fence. Before purchasing this racquet, I rented a demo racquet and hit for several days before deciding to make a switch. I am a baseliner who hits hard with lots of spin. I play junior level state tournaments monthly.
