- All Stringing Machines/Ball Machines must be returned within 30 days of the original purchase. Returns outside of 30 days will not be accepted.
- Stringing Machines/Ball Machines needing to be returned for any reason will require a Return Authorization (RA) issued by Tennis Express.
- Returned product can be subject to a restocking fee plus shipping costs both ways.
- Return shipping costs will be paid by customer.

Best stringer for the money

I have been stringing for a little more than 17 years and I have strung on many machines costing in the high thousands to the low hundreds. I must say the Alpha gave me the best of both worlds. High high quality, tough construction, ease of use (I average a 14 min racquet on this machine) and low cost. I string for a lot of ranked Juniors and college players and all of them have made me their only stringer. I recommend this machine to those who are learning how to string all the way up to those who are certified stringers. Can't be more satisfied!!!!!!!!!!! and Thank You Tennis Express for the outstanding services.

After many years of stringing with a drop weight machine I decided to purchase the Alpha 4000 and I am glad I did. The Alpha 4000 comes with all the neccessary tools, The linear string gripper is very nice to have and does not crush the string like some drop weight machines. The clamps operate smoothly making stringing a snap. This is truly a gem for the money. I looked at other machines but the Alpha 4000 was the best built weighing in at 70 lbs. You will not regret buying one. I love everything about it and I am sure it will serve me well for many years to come.

Great machine

Easy to use. Works well out of the box. The tools that come with the machine are good. Ended up purchasing a starting clamp separately. I did end up having to look for a type of stand - the machine was too high when sitting on a table. Overall, would recommend.

Excellent stringer for the money

This is a great machine for the price. I considered the various drop weight machines, but I really wanted something a bit more solid feeling, especially the tensioning mechanism. I also wanted a machine with fixed clamps.
This machine meets all of my criteria above. I wish there had been a few more instructions included on how to use it, but after one racquet of trial and a few errors everything is running great. I still have to adjust the tensioning mechanism to fix the accuracy, but that part was very clearly pointed out in the instructions.
Highly recommended.
