With a brand new paint job, the Babolat Pure Storm GT Tour Plus Tennis Racquet is another great tour racquet addition to the Pure Storm line. The racquet has GT technology which provides added strength and stability to the frame, replacing the old Carbon XTrem material. The Woofer technology on the sides of the racquet allows the strings to move, creating a trampoline effect that prolongs the ball dwell time for increased control and less shock. The Babolat Pure Storm GT Tour Plus stays true to the Pure Storm line with an open 16x20 string pattern and a 98 square inch head size, which allows for a plenty of control and spin with a solid response.

The Babolat Pure Storm GT Tour Plus Tennis Racquet will appeal to players who want the heft of most advanced racquets but aren’t willing to drop down to a midsize head. The frame will appeal to fans of the midplus starving for a little more weight and reach. The racquet is recommended for strong intermediate to advanced tennis players (4.0+ NTRP). Similar to the standard Pure Storm GT Tour, the Plus version has an extra half inch on the racquet length for players wanting a bit more reach and pop. Players will find the extended length helpful on leveraging serves thought some maneuverability is sacrificed. If your like the specs but prefer the standard length version, then check out the Babolat Pure Storm GT Tour Tennis Racquet, and demo one soon!

Note: This racquet comes with a cover

Babolat pure storm tour gt plus
4/5
Nice feel and control off the racquet. Extra this heavier racquet is stable off of fast balls. Sweet spot is a bit smaller than 100 square inch racquets. Extra length gives a little more power on the serve. It is alittle hard on the arm if you have elbow issues. overall the racquet performs well.

AWESOME!

Alright, this racquet is straight up rocking. It is my racquet from the R to the T haha. Anyway, I played with a lot of racquets before this, I had HEAD Youtek SPEED MP and Pr, along with Prestige racquets, I have also played with the 100 Sqin pro staff that recently was released by Wilson. Anyway this string pattern is awesome for creating spin, I feel a lot safer taking a bigger cut at the ball and that I can keep the ball in. I can rip my serves as well, and if feels completely amazing. The weight is a beautiful thing, the extra length is very helpful for a short guy like me. So in the long run this racquet is going to be used for me by a long time. This is DEFINITELY a MUST try if you are looking for some extra spin and pop in your racquet. I am a Babolat player all the way in now.
