A great choice for introducing junior players to the game is the Dunlop Nitro 23. This frame is specially designed for players ages 6-9 / 4ft to 4ft. 6in. tall. Its 95 square inch head size gives them plenty of room to make contact. At 7.7oz, it is light enough for this age range of players to swing with ease and confidence while having the correct weight for kids of their strength and coordination. The 23 inch length ensures that kids will be able to maneuver the racquet correctly and develop proper stroke mechanics. Parents seeking to introduce their age 6-9 players to the game with a frame that is right for them should consider the Dunlop Nitro 23.

The Nitro is aesthetic nice and a solid raquet. However, it is a bit too rigid and heavy. My 7 year old used the Nitro for 2 months and I notice a change in his forehand and backhand stroke. I compared the Nitro to the racquet he used previously and found the Nitro to be significantly heavier. He has sinced returned to using his old racquet and his forehand and backhand have stabilized. I do not recommed using the Nitro for Junior in the 5 to 7 year age range
