BABOLAT 2010 Aeropro Drive Plus GT Tennis Racquet

I recently started to play tennis again, and I originally purchased a Head T5. I found that the T5 was way too light and I had problems keeping it in my hands when I hit off center. I decided to test drive the Aeropro Drive Plus along with a Head YOUTEK Graphene Speed MP. It was a tough decision, but I decided to go with the 2010 version of the Babolat to save a few bucks. I have it strung with gut in the mains @55 lbs and ALU poly in the crosses @52 lbs. I absolutely love this racquet. The gut feels so good on my arm and the plow through helps the racquet hold square when hit off center. I can generate copious amounts of spin on all of my shots and my serve really pops. Some people may feel that the racquet is too heavy, but Im a large guy 64, 245lbs so I prefer a solid feeling racquet. I dont regret my selection whatsoever.

First of all, kudos to Tennis Express! I ordered on Friday and this racquet along with a box fo balls, were delivered the very next morning and, at no extra cost! I need to say that I never thought that a racquet would improve my game in just 2 days using it! To me is unbeliveable. I have always been a Wilson guy and I have played with several Wilson models and developed to a point that I saw no more improvement due to the lack of partners to play with. After 3 years out of any court, I decided to buy this baby and, after only 2 days, I noticed that my control was better than ever. Even though I felt like starting from scratch, I really felt the difference!! I was able to hit harder and keep the ball from going out of the baseline. My spin was more notorious and my serve came back rapidly and felt better. I decided to go hybrid with a farly high tension 60 on mains and 58 on cross/16 on mains and 17 on crossto add the control I wanted.

I ordered two Babolat raquets and received them within a few days. Unbelievable. Especially that close to Christmas. The grandkids were very excited to receive them

This racquet is just amazing. This racquet has really improved my game. Really good feel and really good control. And come on.. Nadal uses this racquet.

I feel like the transition from my old racket to this one has changed my game alot. I get more shots in easily and I have more power. This racket is pretty accurate also. And its awesome cuz Nadal uses the same racket :

I love this racquet. It give me more power and control with smooth swing. I recommended this racquet for competitive players.

Im basically a beginner in tennis so I decided to demo this racquet. This is a great racquet to upgrade to especially if you love to topspin alot. This racquet is really light and Id recommend to players who would like to improve their strokes and spin.

This newest version of the Aeropro Drive Plus GT racquet feels softer than the prior version with the same ridiculous spin and nice power and feel.

I have played with many rackets and this one I was not happy with. It has no control and not a whole lot of power. The extra half an inch ruins the racket. I would buy the normal aero instead of this. I was very dissapointed.

This racquet..... My tennis game has improved tremendously due to the feel and easily-generated spin that comes from this racquet. I have developed a strong kick serve, a killer forehand, and a well-developed two-handed backhand all because this racquet made it much easier for me. I recommend this racquet to any intermediate player that thinks he or she needs some extra power, spin, and feel.

i get tons of spin on the ball with this racquet without too much force. my favorite ball to hit with this racket is definitely the low balls which will just go right over the net and bounce really really low

Only excellent performance can describe this racquet, I just bought the exact same second one as a back up and will buy more as I play down the road.

I had a Babolat aeropro drive plus GT racquet and decided that I needed two. We play every day and when a string breaks we need a back up. I got my new racquet from tennis express because we live in a remote area. I love this racquet for its response to the ball. It has the N.Vy strings and when I play with it I get very little pain in my chronic tennis elbow. It also helps me delivery that punch that sends the ball flying across the net with nice spin and speed. I love the racquet. Thanks Tennis Express for getting it here to me with no hassle. Your people are very helpful and you make it easy to shop.

Great racquet, light weight still lot of depth on the shots. Only complaint i had was i think if you use the average for tension it does lack some precision. I think a tighter tension should do the work.

You should really try both raquets if you are trying to decide between the aeropro gt and the +. Very different swings. You have to get used to this raquet but when you do its awsome.

1st i would like to say the demo program was outstanding,the racquet i purchased is very light & responsive,great from the baseline as well as at the net. extra spin is generated which took me just a short while getting used to, this allows for a lot of clearance over the net & also great depth of shot all the while hitting the ball with a lot of force.

This racquet produces a lot of spin. The extra have inch length is well worth it. This racquet doesnt take a long time to get used of. Overall this racquet is amazing. 10/10

What a great racket. Thanks for the prompt delivery. It arrived in time for my tournament. I didnt think you could get it here that fast. This racket is all I want to play with.

Of all the rackets Ive used since I started tennis, the AeroPro is just awesome! Great feel, spin, and power. Overall, this racket just fits an all around player.

I bought the Aeropro Drive after demoing one at my club. Even with the same string tension, I always felt like I had to hit 30% harder with my Head racquet to generate the same topspin and speed. It took a couple sessions to get comfortable with my new found power lots of out calls, but once I got there it was all worth it. Im enjoying my new racquet and highly recommend it to someone looking to add a little kick to their game. Id not recommend the Aeropro Drive+ to people with a slow swing or those looking to improve control and touch. I see how the extra weight could strain the arm, but Ive not had any issues thus far.
