Read the Full Review of the Boris Becker V1 Mid Plus from Rackets 411.com Read the Full Review of the Boris Becker V1 Over Size from Rackets411.com The Boris Becker V1, part of the Boris Becker series from Volkl, offers spin, control, and pop on all shots. The BB V1 tennis racquet is available in two versions: Midplus and Oversize.
The Midplus version of the Boris Becker V1 offers superior spin capabilities by having an open string pattern while still providing optimum performance in the power department. The unusual 102 square inch head size combined with the 10.5 oz unstrung weight allows for power and control that benefits the players from all areas of the court. On the ground strokes, the Boris Becker V1 Midplus offers easy access to spin and pop. This racquet is very serve friendly by allowing the user to have easy placement and the ability to kick the ball out wide or into the body. The BB V1 Midplus version allows, overall, a heap of spin and solid performance.
The Oversize version of the Boris Becker V1 features less weight and a larger headsize. This permits more power and maneuverability for the players from all parts of the court. The large head size also offers a larger sweet spot as well as more forgivness on off-center shots. The Boris Becker V1 Oversize is well-suited for players who have short swinging rates. This racquet also has an extended length that allows the user to reach balls on the run easier. With the same stringing pattern of 16x19 as its midplus brother, the BB V1 Oversize has a great amount of spin capabilities that allows for a deadly combination of an oversized head with an open string pattern.
