From HEAD comes the Airflow Crossbow 5 tennis racquet, the next generation of the Airflow tennis racquet line by Steffi Graf. With the female players desires in mind, the Airflow 5 CB, is a maneuverable, comfortable, and spin friendly tennis racquet. With a 109 square inch headsize, the sweet spot is enlarged while players will experience an increase in forgiveness for off-centered shots. Players will find a solid response on all shots from all areas of the court, while having an easy time generated pace and spin at the baseline. At the net, the Airflow 5 CB provided enough feel and stability for angled volleys and put-aways.
The main feature of the Airflow 5 CB is HEADs latest CrossBow technology, which is separate from the racquet itself. With the CrossBow technology, the throat bridge is able to move upon ball impact, storing up power, and releasing that power when the ball leaves the racquet. The result is more energy on shots from anywhere on the court. Another great feature is the InteGrip racquet handle system, which reduces harmful vibrations for a comfortable feel. With a large sweet spot, lightweight, and comfortable feel, the Airflow 5 CB is suitable for intermediate players looking for more power with a solid response.
