HEAD Youtek IG Speed MP 300 Tennis Racquet

This is another winner from Head. I find that it offers me the perfect balance of control and power. I had it strung at 55# with Babolat RPM 17G+VS 16g strings and this combination offers great top spin and feel.

I tested the 315s and they were great. For the long haul and being able to play aggressive, I chose the 300. The control is great in a little bit lighter frame than the 315s and my overall shot percentage has improved. It is almost hard to hit out of bounds with this one. Sometimes I think one is about to sail out and it hits just inside the line. Serves are great with this as well as at the net. Really great spin too. I havent felt like it gets pushed around either. I think a multifilament is works best or a synthetic string. Full bed of poly didnt do the trick, but I highly recommend this racquet.

I simply love this racquet. I have used it 4 times sense I got it and each time it is so fun. I love how perfectly weighted it is. It is not to light or to heavy. I love the head size and length. This is one grand racquet.

Hello, I tried this racquet on Friday as test, considering to buy it as a second recquet. My 1st is Fischer black granite comp 95 295 gr, 613 cm2, but when I tried Head, I fell in low with it. I ordered it, and waiting to be strung. While testing it at warming I felt: GREAT PRESCISION IN SHOTS, 0% VIBRATIONS, GREAT STABILITY. I felt like I had secreat weapon in my hand, because all my shots were on spot, and I felt like winning will be just a game with this recquet. Of course, Speed mp 300 is now my 1st recquet!!! I feel really confortable with this raquet in the court, godd felling, ive improved my drive and also my serve, actually i can control all of my shots. I recommend this product for intermediate player like me.

This racket is awesome.Im a junior player and i used to hit with a lot of top spin.I loved the Babolat Pure Storm Limited, but Ive been having elbow problems ever seen i dove for a ball and landed on my elbow.Ever since then my shots have been week and I have less accuracy and power in my shots.I decided to switch rackets i demoed the Pure drive, steam 100, and the speed 300. I loved the speed it was great,I got more power,the control was great,and I could still develop a lot more spin.All in all if your looking for control while not sacrificing power this is the racket for you!

This is my 2nd Youtek IG Speed MP 300. I had only one and was playing in a match when the strings broke. I had to use my old head extreme MP and I knew then I had to get another IG speed MP 300 in case I had to change racquets in a touney. It gives me great control. I consider myself a fairly big hitter and this baby gives me power and control. My serve has never been better. I would hightly reccomend this racquet to anyone seeking power and control with a lighter raquet.

After a long time that me and my son were using a Babolat rackets he said he wants to try another racket. We tried several rackets and he finally chose the Head Youtek IG Speed MP 300. I also decided to take the same racket and im not sorry. The racket is vey comfortable from the baseline and close to net. i still need to get used to the differnt feel regarding the serve.

I tried all kinds of sticks this summer and finally settled on the MP 300 for its power and control. I played with the Price Woodie back in the day and the Head Wood when it came out, but those two were trad tear drop shaped. The MP to me, has a more rounded shape which allows me to raise up my racquet more in that apologetic fashion when my misses go in for winners. The lighter weight allows to me to whip a backhand more effectively. I have played with VOLKLs quantum since 03, and the MP 300 is just as forgiving on the arm, and buttery on the touch shots. The power I can call on at will and Im not afraid to hit out on the ball. I play flat to light top spin, and the stick works well, all though not as powerful as the VOKL on the flat strokes. Still trying to work topspin lobs with it...The stick is wonderful at the net, moves around with ease. The service game has definitely improved. Or as my local pro says, maybe my Head has.

This racquet is a great new addition to the Youtek series. From my experience of playing with the racquet, it gave me to most spin I have ever been able to gain with a racquet before. This led to a full and long swing, allowing me to hit the ball deep into the other side of the court, which I normally am not able to do. The serves with this racquet were also amazing. It let me hit more power by creating more spin to my serve; this definitely increases my first and second serve percentage. The only thing that was a little different was the feel of hitting slice from the baseline as well as volleying. The thing i noticed to most was the amount of forgiveness the racquet had while volleying, which was not much at all. Overall, this racquet performed very well and I am strongly considering buying it.
