Luxilon Adrenaline 125 Rough 16L Tennis String
Description
Luxilon Adrenaline Rough 16L offers a roughened texture for increased ball bite and spin generation. This string generates a lot of control for the big swinging baseliner. This is one of the easiest stringing polyester based strings on the market, and provides a slightly stiffer feel compared to the ALU Power line. Adrenaline 16L features a technology known as liquid crystalline polymer construction, which allows the string to react in the hands of high swing speed players. The high level of control allows players to take full, fast swings and still keep the ball in the court thanks to the large amounts of spin generated. A good string for today's power baseliner who wants something with a little less power than the ALU Power.

Luxilon Adrenaline - Best to Start

The Luxilon Adrenaline Rough 16G is a terrific string to start off with if youve never tried a Luxilon String before. The Luxilon string line is well known and used on the pro tour. Unfortunately, on my tight budget most of the Luxilon strings are pricey. For the money you cant beat the performance and durability and did I mention the added Topspin from the Rough surface. At under $10 it is value for your money.

No wonder why it is used by many pros. If you can hit the ball in the sweet spot consistently, you will have all the power, spin, and CONTROL that you can get from the racquet. I strung this as main at 54 lb with Gosen 17 as cross at 56.

Great string! I love it! It gives me great control, power and spin - much more than the Babolat RPM Blast. I switched to the Babolat AeroPro Drive racquet to get more topspin and power. Strung with Luxilon Adrenaline 16L 1.25 strings, I am getting even more power, control and spin. My shots are consistently deep and inside the court - service, drives and volleys. These strings compensate for my lack of muscle power. It feels the best at low tension - 48lbs. Do not wait for the strings to break before restringing; it is a very resilient string and starts to feel a bit dead before it breaks. I restring regularly depending on how much I play and how hard my opponents hit to keep that wonderful lively feeling of these strings.

I really like this string. it gives you pretty good power, very good spin, very good durability. It lacks a little bit in feel and control for me. If I had 2 racquets, one with Adrenaline Rough, and one with ALU Power Rough, I dont think Id be able to tell them apart, they play very similarly. Since the Adrenaline is less expensive, its a good value.
Im currently using a hybrid with this in the mains and Wiess Cannon Explosiv in the crosses. It gives me a good combination of power, feel, and control. The Wiess Cannons dont last long, so thats the trade-off, but otherwise this combination gives me everything Im looking for.

Ive always used luxilon for my mains. I tried these out and they work pretty good so far. I dont see why you need to buy more expensive luxilon strings. These perform just as great as any other Luxilon strings in my opinion.
