LUXILON Big Banger ALU Power Rough 16L String

I am using this first time and I can see lot of spin and controll on this string. I am happy with this.

Im a 4.0 to 4.5 level player and typically play 3x per week. I have used these strings alone usually strung about 10% less than I would a regular poly as they are pretty stiff. This string is very durable and rarely if ever breaks. The rough bites the ball well and generates great spin. Control feels great in first couple weeks after stringing but then they tend to feel flat. I have started to mix this with a synthetic gut hybrid to make the feel last a little longer. This will continue to be my foundation string.

This string is great! I notice that it produces a lot of topspin. I did not try it with a hybrid, but I have heard it would be good for that!

Yes thats the one I was looking for! Adding so much bite, control and power to my game! I can totally understand why many pros preferred this particular strings. I loved from the first moment I hit the ball. Its adding so much confidence to my game too. Strings keeping tension very well; durable, and yet helping with the soft touch in the net game. I will play only with this strings from now on!

Strings provide amazing control and crispness. I feel I can take full cuts at the ball and keep it on the court. Durability has been great as well.

Paired with a nice gut-Iike Wilson natural gut1--this string allows me to generate tremendous spin. And its not only on low skidding shots: even when my opponent hit a high kicking topspin forehand, I was able to cut his ball down with a smooth backhand slice. Great for heavy slice folks like me.

Changed from RPM Babolat to Luxilon... great results....

Strings are very good and durable. I am getting much better feel and top spin on the ball.

Have been using these strings for a couple of years now, first on Prince EX03 100 and now Head Youtek Extreme MP racket. Normally string at the higher tensions around 61 lbs, and find the the spin from these strings is very helpful without losing any power and control. I had been warned that due to stiff nature of this string that i would have elbow issues, but can say this hasnt been a problem. Highly recommend.

I have been using these strings for several years in a hybrid combo in which these are the mains and VS gut are crosses. I am please with the performance of these strings. Only drawback I have found is that I seem to have some control issues in colder weather with these strings, so I have an identical racket with different set of mains that I use for temperatures below 50 degrees.

I used natural gut in crosses and Luxilon ALU Rough in mains. I had great control, but shouldve gone down 4 or 5 lbs in tension because it hurt my elbow but I know thats because of the ALU Rough. Will try again at lower tension because I get great spin from the ALU Rough.

I cant say enough good things about this string. I love the extra spin I get and combine that with a little bit of pop as well and you cant go wrong. I use this for my mains and hybrid it with Babolat natural gut. This is the only string that doesnt chew up the natural gut! It works in harmony. I have tried other ploys but keep coming back to this, I highly recommend it, especially in a hybrid setup. I am using this in a Wilson Pro Staff BLX 90.

I would recommend stringing about 5-7 pounds less than other strings, as this will not play well if strung too tight. It also takes a while to get used to the feel of the string, but the rough definately gives you a grip on the ball.

I used these as my only strings for about a year. They have moderate power, good feel. Theyre very durable and hold tension well. The texture definitely adds some extra spin over plain polys. Ive never used any of the hexagonal or other shaped strings, like the RPM Blast, so I cant compare to those in terms of spin. My only real complaint is the price. I tried the Adrenaline Rough and found it to be VERY similar, with a lower price, so Im currently using that in a Hybrid setup with the Adrenaline in the mains and WeissCannon Explosiv in the crosses. But if youre looking to squeeze some more spin out of your strings, want a good durable string, and dont change your strings that often, this is worth a try.

I Love these strings! I played with the Regular Big Banger ALU strings 63 lbs.and liked them alot. Then started with the rough strings. My game improved even more. I hit hard with top-spin and have no trouble keeping the ball in the court. During winter-play these strings seem a little dead due to the cold temperatures. I then switch to the Luxilon TIMO strings @ 60 lbs. This is a great product.

Big Banger ALU Power Rough is one of the two best strings I am using. It has a good balance of power and control. Very spin friendly. Hold string in position very well able to snap back when the tension is still there in the first 10 hours. The only thing Im not satisfied is that the string gets out of position after losing its tension. I have tried many strings including MSV Focus Hex 110,118,123, Signum Pro TOrnado 1.23, Wilson NXT/Sensation, Tecnifibre X-one biphase...etc. This BB ALU Power Rough is on the top two of my picks. My other top pick is Signum Pro Tornado 1.23 which is just a bit softer than BB ALU Power Rough. Both hold position very well and generate more spins. My ground stroke is at 4.5 level. Racquet is Head Microgel Radical Oversize 18x19 pattern. Strung Big Banger Power Rough at 40-44 lbs depending on climate temperature.

This choice was broken my trouble for string. I satisfied for string and tennisexpress because the things that the delivery, the packing and the quality. I also introduced my friend. Be keep the mind tennisexpress when you buy the tennis things.

Great string. Very powerful without losing much control.Reasonable price.
