PACIFIC X Force Comp Tennis Racquet
List Price: $179.95 Sale Price:
$159.95
The newest introduction to the X Force family, the more forgiving Pacific X Force Comp features many of the same Fischer technologies but with a larger headsize. Most importantly, the BasaltX construction remains, which creates a woven matrix of graphite and basalt fibers that provides multiple benefits. By adjusting the amount of basalt in an area of the frame, especially in the key areas of the frame such as the shoulders and sides of the head, the stiffness is increased, resulting in greater torsional stability. To further assist control and stability, the X Force Comp utilizes Speed Zone, which places small magnet of opposite polarity at the sides of the head. This is designed to deliver maximum ball speed without sacrificing control. The main thing to notice when looking at this frame is the tapered beam, which ranges from 20mm at the throat, up to 25mm at the top of the head. This is important to the playability of the frame as the thinner throat area remains flexible for a comfort feel and incredible control, while the increased thickness of the head effectively stiffens the frame, providing additional power. Designed for players with moderate to full swings, this near even balance and moderately weighted frame provided incredible stability from the baseline and good maneuverability at net. A perfect option for all court players and baseliners alike, the X Force Comp really shined from the back of the court thanks to the added forgiveness, stability, and power from the larger headsize.
