These shoes are great after a slight modification. The plastic support on the sides of the shoes are too rigid. So I removed or modified it to give me the flexibility for the lateral motion. With a sharp pointed exacto knife and a small knibbler or cutter plier, I was able to remove the plastic area. These are great shoes...I have 12 of them. I gave this information to Prince and they were very responsive. Prince also told me that in Aug/Sept of this year they will be resurrecting the Viper which are excellent shoes. These shoes are the best ankle support and arch support. I also told Prince that there is no company at this time that have the mid-cut or the ankle support. A lot of the pros are using the ankle support braces which I found very uncomfortable and it is just not enough support. More and more movement is laterally and jumping in the air. I hope that the mid-cut does a comeback pretty sure there is enough players that understands what Im w
Good Tennis Shoe... Viper its not
User: Dr. H. Rosenwasser, Florida
I wore the Viper and Viper II model for years... even purchasing extra pairs. Now Im on the last pair. It was the best tennis shoe for stability. With its reputation and success, I dont understand why they stopped making the model.
Mid rise woes
User: Meryl Markov, NEW YORK
Since they discontinued the womens k suisse mid rise, I have been searching for a replacement & I think I may have found it! Very stiff, but seem to hold my ankle in place. Have only played in them for a few weeks but I think they may be a winner. Hoping I can give them a 5 star review as I break them in & get more comfortable. This is my 1st sneaker change in over 15 years.
Mens T22 Mid Shoe
User: Frederick Genthe, fl
I find the T22 Mid comfortable especially the cushioning for the heel. I found the Viper more supportive though and wish they would bring it back.

Prince T22 mid Tennis shoe
User: Ron Davis, Georgia
Upper body of shoe is great, the sole or bottom of the shoe is great. The inside cushion or padding is inadequate. Ive purchased 3 pair in the past 6 months and have worn 2 of the 3 and the inside cushion is the same inadequate0. Thus it must be a design flaw. Ive purchase prince shoes and only Prince shoes in the past 7 years and have always been satisfied. The viper and viper II models
MT22 Prince Shoe
User: Trevor L. Rees, MO
The MT22 Prince shoe is comfortable and provides excellent ankle support. On the court this shoe excels at giving you the piece of mind that your ankles are protected and you have the freedom of movement to run down any shot that you can get to. Another added bonus of this fine footwear is its durability I play about 4-5 times a week and the MT22 has little to no wear and tear marks.
I love this shoe!
User: Christopher Lindsey, CA
There seem to be very few Mid tennis shoes. I wore the Prince Viper for a long time. It was a heavy, stiff shoe. The T22 Mid is a lighter and more flexible shoe. Also there is an extra eyelet that allows me to get a more secure fit on my left foot which is a little more narrow than my right foot. I love this shoe. Love is not too strong a word for my feeling for this shoe.

My husband loves his new shoes

Shoes are working out really well. I play mainly no clay and I like the way they dont hold the clay after play. They are pretty self cleaning.

Love These Shoes
User: Robert Staqhl, Texas
I searched and searched for a mid rise shoe to protect me from ankle sprains. The right shoe was imposssible to find, or so I thought. I even started using ankle braces with a regular shoe but that was annoying, especially with a strap across the bottom of the foot. But these shoes give all the support and protection I need. They are comfortable and easy to use, even with orthotics. And they look good. Everyone noticed the sharp shoes I was wearing on the court and wanted to know where I purchased them. Im extremely satisfied!
User: Denis C. Michaud, NH
The only mid that is available in a tennis shoe. Very stable.
Great shoe...taking a bit longer to break in
User: Steve Sicola, CO
Love the shoe...nice to see a replacement for the old vipers. But I have wide feet and went with thin socks to start, which was a mistake...still rubbed outside of feet...then went to thicker socks and they are breaking in now. I ordered two pair and am now going to break in the other so I can switch and not have the break in time otherwise. For a wide foot guy, and with the need for mid, this is the shoe
User: Carl Castrogiovanni, Illinois
These are well constructed and really comfortable. I purchased the mid-rise to give my ankles more support. I dont have much experience with these types of shoes in order to make comparisons, but, so far, this shoe is giving me rock-solid performance.
User: Chad Smith, NY
I purchased these shoes about a month ago from Tennis Express. They came to my door step quickly, without delay. Online ordering was simple. The shoe itself fit like a glove. I have played about 40 games on these sneaks and not once have I had a blister or had to go through any break in period, plus they give me great ankle support. I most definitely recommend this product.
