Continuing its legacy as the world's most popular string, Prince Synthetic Gut Duraflex continues to be the top selling string through the years. Featuring a classic solid core with outerwrap layer construction, this string provides all around performance for players. Synthetic Gut Duraflex is named for the aramid fibers running along the outer layer of the string. This aramid fiber causes the string to play slightly stiffer and with a touch more control compared to Prince Synthetic Gut Original, while also increasing the durability due to its high strength characteristics. Providing consistent performance for a number of years, this string remains popular among players of all levels and styles. The solid central core helps to provide tension maintenance, while the outerwrap helps to both soften the string while providing some extra durability with the addition of the aramid fibers.
Construction: Monofilament nylon core + outerwrap w/ aramid
Color: White, Yellow, Gold, Black, Blue, Purple, Platinum
Gauge: 15L (1.35mm), 16 (1.30mm), 17 (1.22mm), 18 (1.17mm)

Prince Syn. Gut
User: Sheldon Hawthorne , Texas
This string is good if you dont hit with a lot of spin because it loses tension very fast. But overall its pretty decent in a hybrid stringing and its good on the arm.
Perfect Midle of the Road String
User: Jeremy Archie, TX
These are a perfect middle of the road string. They dont do anything specifically well, but they do all things averagely well. Theyre a great bang for you buck! Also, they play a little crisper than multifilaments which I prefer for drop shots and volleys, are little bit more durable, and dont fray.

I have been using this string for quite a while now. My elbow does not hurt now. My control is good.
45 Minutes and Broken String
User: Chris Gustilo, MN
I just bought a racket for my son and had it strung up. Within 45 minutes, he popped the strings. Paid extra to do a hybrid ... definitely not worth it. Have restrung it myself and so far so good.

Thanks. I got what I paid for.It was fast and easy.
Good Feel String
User: Amit Prasad, TX
I have tried different strings since I started playing tennis last year but the feel & durability was not satisfactory until I tried duraflex. I would definitely recommend this string for all recreational players.

Prince Synthetic Gut Duraflex
User: John Hempel, Arizona
Most popular string in the world for good reason. Best value string with good playability and durability. Go to string when in doubt what to put in a racquet. Great value.

Great all-around string
User: Tim Foley, KS
I always use the Prince synthetic gut duraflex 16g string. It is durable and provides a good perfomance. My teen uses this string on his Prince racquet in varsity tennis and loves it.
User: Alejandro Hern'á'ndez, Puerto Rico
Im very satisfied with the product and I didnt expect that you were going to encore the raquet , I though you were going to charge for that. Thank you
User: Pat Baril, FL
I have been playing for about 7 years now and just purchased my second racquet. I chose these strings because they were Prince and Purple. They seemed to offer what I needed. Spin and Feel. I was seriously lacking the spin before and have had to relearn how to hit due to the increased performance of the strings and racquet. I love these strings, but am very new to all aspects of racquet buying. My first one was off the shelf and prestrung, so I had no decisions. I have played with string claiming more spin, but due to the racquet and tension was never impressed. These strings impressed me, but Im a rookie.
Consistent string, a little expensive
User: Ken Sponseller, IL
I tried this string in the crosses with Solinco Barb Wire. Performance was good, but found no difference from the Solinco Pro-Stacked that was half the cost.

User: Michael T. Perkins, Texas
Good feel very plastic in rebound, had the strings loose to reduce should shock and it works well. shot need to be controlled as it is very easy to overhit.
User: Gary L Freeman, Texas
The Prince syn gut has been easy on my elbow. I have very little soreness when using this string. The 17 gauge does have more feel to it than the 16 gauge.
