Description
Designed for exceptional spin, Solinco Barb Wire 1.30 features the same square profile geometry as the popular Tour Bite. In order to offer even greater spin potential, the string is subjected to an axially twisting procedure, increasing the surface roughness for increased grip. The result is that Barb Wire is the most spin friendly string in the line, while offering some interesting playing characteristics. The unique co-polyester construction combines excellent durability and resilience for power. Best suited to hard-hitting baseline players looking for maximum spin and durability without sacrificing all feel and power.

Purchased for my 14 year old, string breaker grandson, and while it produced good spin, it lacked control and durability. Grandson hits heavy topspin, and strings lasted about 4 hours playing time. All strings were notched.

I just started using the Solinco string and love them. I get a lot of spin on the ball. I string my stick between 45 and 50 and with this string I get good pop on the ball and excellent controll.
