Gore MicroWeb Technology is a patented material that is made from a proprietary formulation of expanded polyTetrafluoroethylene, or ePTFE. This Gore technology provides an ultra-low friction surgace, creating a combination of benefites never before achieved in string design, including precise string realighment and drastically rediced string notching for increased durability.
