WILSON BLX Six-One Team Tennis Racquet

Im happy with the purchase. Well strung and quick delivery from Tennis Express. I will need some time to adjust to the racquet. It has a great soft feel and from the baseline I immediately saw improvement in my ability to hit deep and hard to the corners as well as hit angles with lots of topspin. On the other hand, I have not been able to put the necessary zip on serves and volleys because the racquet has such a soft feel. In time, I think I will adjust and be able to make the switch, but for now, am still using my old racket.

I have chosen this racquet over the Wilson BLX Six One 95 because it is a lighter racquet and allows me to volley and react quickly at the net. On my approach shots, I naturally hit a swinging volley or a half volley. The team racquet allows me to make my shots with good racquet head speed and even allows me to change direction of the ball due to its lighter weight. On the baseline as I groundstroke, if I am in position, racquet ready and contact is made in the sweet spot at full swing my shot will have depth and control, however it is not as forgiving for mishits. On my serves, I have control and placement but feel that I cant generate as much power and pop with the Team racquet as the Six One 95. Because it is lighter, it is much easier to consistently hit an accurate serve. This racquet is the perfect weight and construction for me as a woman who plays predominantly with men who naturally hit harder.
