One of the first multifilament strings to be produced, Wilson Sensation 17 provides more spin and pop compared to its 16 gauge version, but does have slightly decreased durability. This string remains popular among players of all levels thanks to its combination of feel and playability. This one features a multifilament core utilizing Dupont Zycro Micro-Fibers surrounded by a series of outerwraps. The Zycro fibers help to increase the sweetspot size and reduce vibration for greater comfort. Sensation will play slightly stiffer than Wilson NXT, due to the outerwraps, which helps to increase the durability of the string by protecting the microfiber core. This is a solid string choice for players seeking comfort and overall playability at a great price.
Construction: Multifilament polyamide + outerwraps

The Sensation 17 received from Tennis Express had 05/05 stenciled on the string. I dont know if this means it is 9 years old purchased in 20a14, but the package it came in was definitely older than others I have received with Sensation 17.

Perfect string. Have used it before and love it

I like to have more power and still retain my spin ability. using a smaller racquet requires some more practice but it seems to work well. I would have preferred a handle 4 and got a 4.5 its OK. I just did not find the correct handle I feel comfortable with. Over all good experience

These strings were amazing! Every time I use these strings I feel like I can play much better. The comfort level of these strings are off the charts. I would highly recommend buying these strings.

This is my first time using this string from Wilson and is very happy With it.

String broke the 3rd time I played with it. I rarely break strings, though I do usually play with a thicker gauged string. Until the string snapped as I was returning a pedestrian first serve, it was playing quite nicely. I appreciated the extra feel that the string was giving my brand new Wilson Juice 100.

Wilson sensation is a good synthetic string that is arm friendly. But the playability not as good as Wilson NXT or Tecnifibre X-one biphase in soft synthetic string category.

I bought a new used racquet recently that was strung with Sensation 17 and havent lost a match since. I have been playing with more power and control.
very good string

In my search for a less expensive yet good performing multi, because of an elbow problem, i tried this string after a recommendation from a friend. I found it not quite as nice as my favorite multi NRG2, but to have very good performance at a more affordable price. It has a nice balance between crispness and feel. ive been able to easily adjust to its characteristics and will continue to use it as it meets the value criteria ive been searching for and seems to be easy on the elbow. Its holding up fine so far with limited play. Its a far nicer string than the less expensive multis I experimented with. Give it a try.

This is my third time using this string. I used the Sensation 16, too but I found that Sensation 17 feels better for my arm. I can handle the spin well and the best thing is, I can have great control! I used different kinds of stings but I am winning the most matches with Sensation 17!

This is the first time we have tried this for my son. The first impression has been very good. It looks like my son had added more power to his strokes. He is an aggresive play and the strings have been helpful. Thanks to Tennis Express for suggesting this string and for other helpful information like dampener and stringing the racket.

I wanted to try these strings in comparison to prince multi 17. When i tried to string them using my home stringer, they immediately snapped while i was stringing them. Prince and babolat strings have never hdone that to me. I wont try these again, thats for sure.

These strings are awesome! They are very comfortable and fairly durable, considering that I am a heavy spinner which, by the way, is also something these strings help me with.
