WILSON Six.One 95 BLX 16X18 Tennis Racquet

The Six.One BLX 16x18 has a wider string pattern than usual and adds a lot of pop on hits, making hitting much easier and effortless. You can get nice topspin making you look like a pro. One thing to consider is the string pattern and how it fits into your game. I definitely could feel the difference when hitting using a 16x18 vs 18x20. You may very well like it.

Great racquet. I play with the PS 6.1 95 Classic. This racquet has decent weight; its head light enough that you could add some weight to the frame if needed. Swingweight is reasonable, if a bit on the low side, which makes you barely feel the 12.3 ounce frame. I personally dont find it quite as maneuverable as the Pro Staff series, but its great on ground strokes and the serve.. trying to get used to it a bit on volleys. I think Wilson created a miserable new 95 Pro Staff 6.1 racquet, which is way too light and has a very low swingweight in stock form.. yeh, its customizable etc. etc., but its not that head light so even customizing it to your preference isnt that straightforward since you need to add weight in the butt of the racquet. In any event, if Wilson were to fix the new 95 6.1 Pro Staff racquet, I could see myself recommending that one over this BLX Six.One. Until then, this one it is.

Ive been playing with the Volkl Tour 10 for years and recently made the switch to the Six.One 95 BLX 16X18. I thought that the Volkl Tour 10 was a great racquet, which it was, but it doesnt come close the BLX 16 X 18. It has great touch, can generate excellent power and has incredible control. I demoed many racquets, but this was the best by far. For me, I made the right choice. I recently purchased a second racquet as a back-up. I can say that Ive always look forward to hitting, but since making the change, it feels great to get on the court.

when first hitting with it, i could tell it gave me loads of pop coming from the older model.. at times i felt as if it was a bit too much on the groundies. however, after playing for 4-5 hours, i was able to get use to it.volleys are very crisp and clean with a lot of feel. while serving i noticed there was a lot of extra pop expecially on kick and slice serves, which is always a plus for me.

I hit with this racket for the first time today and wow was i impressed. I usually hit with the k factor version of this racket but this version seemed to feel much better on the groundstrokes specifically. And because it is after all a six one the volleys were a dream and the serves were spot on. I just wanted to let you guys know that this is a great stick. It was strung with sensation at 57. Im a 4.5-5.0 level player.
