YONEX EZONE Xi 107 Tennis Racquet

Finding the balance of power, comfort, and control, the Yonex EZONE Xi 107 tennis racquet. The evolution of the game has created the need for the advancement in tennis racquets. The EZONE Xi line answers the call with its "Extra Isometric" head shape delivering an even more expanded sweet spot for increased forgiveness and power. The Quad Power System remains on the EZONE Xi 107, taking advantage of variable thickness at the corners of the head for improved stiffness and repulsion. Also located at the corners is the NeoFade material, a dampening polymer that ensures less vibration for comfort. One important new feature is the SD (Shock Dampening) Grid, which is inserted into the handle and shaft between the tubes of the frame to limit shock from reaching the hand. The creation of a new Oval Pressed Shaft (O.P.S) throat beam introduces rounder corners for power while the wider face increases stability. The larger head size of this racquet offers incredible forgiveness from anywhere on the court. During testing, we were pleasantly surprised that there is no discomfort, even on off-center hits. The power level was high enough to dictate play, but not so much to prevent faster swings from taking advantage of the forgiveness.
