YONEX VCORE Tour 89 Tennis Racquet

This racket did not disappoint. I currently use a 95 square inch Yonex racket, and the 89 did not feel any more demanding. The racket was stable, and easy to maneuver. The feel was clean and crisp. And the flame red color is a bonus.

After reading plenty of good things on the Yonex VCORE 89, I demoed the 95, which was excellent. I then decied on the 89 because everyone said the sweet spot wage huge for a smaller head racquet. Well, it has been a gem! My whole game has seemingly benefited from the 89. My serve is harder and more accurate. Volleying excellent and backhand seems more accurate. Forehand strong as well. I highly recommend this stick!

wow this is a fantastic players racket that gives you laser precision in control and placement with plow through and generation of power on demand with your ground strokes. Volleys are solid and penetrating with quick maneuverability due to its head light balance. You can do drop shots easily as it affords incredible touch. Ive played singes and doubles with excellent results. Dont let the 89sq in fool you, it has a large sweet spot and is surprisingly forgiving for its head size. This racket is far superior to Federers racket Wilson Six One 90 Pro Staff which is clunky, unforgiving and boardy in comparison. I played around with various string configurations. Babolat RPM Blast and VS hybrid, Luxilon Alu Rough and VS but found stringing with full bed Pacific Premium Gut 16L at 61lbs was the best. This combo has elevated my game so much that my friends cant believe how strong my game got winning every challenge matches at my club going from 4.5 to 5.0 or nearly open level reminis
