The 16 gauge Synthetic Gut cross strings are used to insure adequate flexibility and ball control by complementing the stiffer monofilament main strings. Recommended Usage: This hybrid string combination is recommended for power players and hard hitters who are looking for a combination of multifilament synthetic gut playability and superior monofilament durability. It is especially designed to satisfy hard hitters who feel Aramid hybrids are too stiff and unresponsive. Recommended Stringing: It is recommended to string MonoGut mains with approximately 10 lbs. less tension than the synthetic gut crosses.
