ASHAWAY Dynamite 18 Soft Reel Tennis String

Improving on their premier string, the new Ashaway Dynamite Soft 18 offers greater spin and feel than the 17 gauge version. This string uses the same Zyex fibers as the original, but in a different construction to create a very soft, very playable feel. The original Dynamite utilized several large Zyex fibers, while the new, softer version uses a large number of smaller micro sized Zyex fibers. This allows for greater elasticity, leading to more comfort and power. The Zyex material in Dynamite Soft is known for its exceptional tension maintenance, while the string features a braided outerwrap for additional ball bite. Ashaway recommends that this string not be strung over 60 pounds and suggests dropping tension 10-20% compared to regular strings. This string is recommended for players seeking a very comfortable string with good tension maintenance and spin generation.
