BABOLAT Addiction Tennis Strings 17g 1.25 mm Natural
Our staff has not reviewed this product yet.
Their new multifilament string, Babolat Addiction 17 offers more spin and feel, but slightly lower durability compared to its 16 gauge version. This string provides players with a pillow soft feel for a ton of comfort. This string features a combination of 95% polyamide along with 5% PTFE fibers, which are exclusive to Babolat, to create a unique combination of power, comfort, and durability. The PTFE Fibers in Addiction help to reduce friction between strings leading to prolonged durability. The highly elastic polyamide fibers provide the elasticity necessary for a soft and powerful string bed. This is a great string for a player seeking a very soft feel with some added power and durability from a multifilament string construction.
Construction: Multifilament polyamide/PTFE

I like the feel & tension of these strings. I needed to pick a string for my new racket & it was a great price and the response when hitting feels right on!

My 14 yr. old used this on her new Babolat and played well with it during a state tennis camp champion in her division!. She is an intermediate junior player level.
good for feel and power

I am not the biggest expert on strings, so I make this review with that caveat. I do like the string. It has good feel and seems easy on the arm. I has broken on my a couple times in the last few months, but it isnt fragile, especially for 17 gauge. If you break a lot of strings, this one might not do, but otherwise, I really think it delivers on power and touch.

Great strings for the price. String doesnt move around much, even for the power players. Gives you enough power, spin and a great control on shots. I have tried many different strings in past but will settle for this current one. It was suggested to me by a Tennis Express representative. Thanks to him.
Good Starting Strings!

These addictions are very consistent strings. They have a very soft feel that is very comfortable. They are very pleasant to hit with and give me the best of power, control and comfort! I recommend these strings!

Recently bought the Babolat AeroPro racket which came with Addiction 17G strings . I am used to stringing my racket with Blast 17G and this is the first time using the Addiction. I liked the performance, gives more control and better soft spots. The string is also more durable and last long.
User: David Allen, Texas
Have tried other strings recently and have found great middle ground with the Addiction. Much more responsive than N.VY, and more arm-friendly with greater feel than Pro Hurricane. Have strung it in Wilson ProStaff 95 and Babolat Pure Drive Roddick, improved playability in both types of frame.

soft feel but less control than other babolatr 17G strings

THE SALES REP DID A GREAT JOB GIVING ME INFORMATION ON HOW THESE STRINGS COULD BENEFIT MY GAME AND IMPROVE MY STROKES. I WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THESE STRINGS TO FRIENDS OF MINE. THANK YOU.

To encourage our sons new-found interest in tennis, I purchased the Addiction strings as a part of our order of a new Babolat racket. For both my son and I its a whole new game! The racket and strings are doing the job. Could not be happier. Looking forward to years of fun ahead!

My new Babolat racquet came with these strings as did the demo I first tried and the performance is great, much better than the Wilson Sensation Ive been using for a few years. I hit with a lot of spin, and these strings really grab. I suppose they wear a bit faster, but not alarmingly.

Great Choice by Tennis Express salesperson .

These strings came with my new racquet, and I bought them again when it was time to restring. Of course, they wore a bit faster than the thicker Sensation string Ive used before, but seemed to bite better for spin and had a livelier feel.

I am currently looking for a string to replace recoil in a hybrid set up with RPM. This was not the string. It is soft but RPM does not rebound back in place after hitting as well recoil.
String addiction #17

Good for elbow less controll overall comparable to some wilsons string
User: Hector Madrigal, CA
I purchased this string to use it as a hybrid with Babolat RPM 17g. I used it on the cross, while using the RPM on the main. The string did not give me the spin, feel, or pop that I was looking for. It is a bit dull as a hybrid. I tried both the 17 and the 16g, but could not really say there was much difference between the two.

User: Whitney Finch, WV
I really like these strings! They give a great pop to the ball and give me enough power without sacrificing too much comfort. I think these strings are perfect for someone who likes to put topspin on their shots, not for the person who tries to kill the ball down the line every shot.
