BABOLAT New Overdrive 105 Tennis Racquet

I wanted to purchase a racket for my daughter as a Christmas gift...there was only one problem: I know absolutely nothing about tennis or the equipment needed to be a successful tennis player. I went online and randomly selected Tennis Express. That was when I discovered a person doesnt just pick out a tennis racket like selecting a cantaloupe at the market; so I called Tennis Express and explained my lack of knowledge to a very understanding customer service rep. She asked me all sorts of questions and by the time we were done, I knew I had purchased the best racquet for my daughters expertise and experience. The proof was in the pudding on Christmas Day when my daughter opened her gift. It was everything shed hoped for and more. While I could have taken the easy way and just given her gift card for her to choose her racket, she told me that it meant so much more because every part of the racquet was a gift of love because between the customer service rep and me it was put toget

Before purchasing the Overdrive 105 I looked at many other racquets but at the end I decided on Babolat due mainly to a friends recommendation. Now that I have started playing with it I have been happily surprised as to how light and forgiven it is. This racquet has helped improve my game and I am now more confident in the court.

This was the first racquet that I used when I started to seriously play tennis in tournaments and such. i was able to crank lots of power behind my serve which I wasn't able to do with my old Prince racquet. I would highly recommend it for any level player because of how easy it was to use! Overall Amazing Racquet!!

The racquet has enough power to drive a serve return while allowing for the approach shot to be controlled. On serves, the 105 head size promotes both spin and control, necessities in serving up a doubles game.

Switched from a Prince 03 to this racket and think it has a better feel and better swing speed. I also like the control.
