HEAD Crossbow tennis racquets are engineered to provide maximum power, thanks to HEAD's revolutionary Crossbow technology! HEAD Crossbow racquets are constructed from 2 pieces: the frame and the bridge. The racquets utilize a dynamic bridge that moves independently from the frame. This allows the Crossbow bridge to act like a bow, bending and storing energy on ball impact. This stored energy is released to the ball as the ball leaves the stringbed. HEAD Crossbow technology allows every shot to be hit with tremendous power. The bridge also has 10 main strings running through it (more than the standard 6 or 8 for a traditional racquet), increasing the size of the sweetspot. Regular HEAD Crossbow racquets also take advantage of HEAD Stabilizer technology. HEAD has redesigned the Stabilizer technology that was used on their Metallix series of racquets to be smaller and more aerodynamic. The stabilizer continuously counteracts the frame's motion on impact, resulting in a more comfortable and solid feel.
