HEAD MicroGel tennis racquets are geared towards the fast-paced and aggressive nature of the modern game of tennis. As players hit harder and harder, the equipment they use needs to be able to withstand the demands of their game. HEAD introduces MicroGel technology, an extremely low density silicon-based material that is strong and resilient. HEAD MicroGel racquets rapidly compress and rebound on contact, distributing shock around the frame evenly on impact. This results in a solid and stable response.
The low density of MicroGel allows this added stability without the addition of significant weight. HEAD MicroGel racquets provide an extremely comfortable and responsive experience. The HEAD Extreme line is also featured as a part of the MicroGel line. The Extreme racquets featured a wider head shape, allowing the ball more room to slide across the stringbed. The result is greatly improved spin potential, increasing the consistency of your shots. Two players using this technology include Arnaud Clement and Victoria Azarenka. Arnaud uses this Microgel Prestige racquet and Victoria plays with this Microgel Extreme Pro racquet.
