Miles Raonic has a two handed backhand. He speaks Serbian and English and moved from Podgorica, Montenegro to Canada at the age of three. His parents are Dusan and Vesna, who are both engineers. He has one sister, Jelena, and brother, Momir. Started playing tennis at the age of eight and was among the first group of players to join Tennis Canada's National Training Centre in Montreal in 2007. His favorite surface is hard court and his favorite shots are serve and overhead. His hobbies include watching movies and talking to family on Skype. His idol growing up was Pete Sampras, and his career goal is to be a “consistent Top 50 player with Top 10 aspirations.” Made Davis Cup debut for Canada versus Colombia in March 2010 and is coached by former ATP pro Galo Blanco.
