I liked the shoe from the first time that I saw them. They took about 3 wearings to break in Im wearing them now however, after that they were/are just fine. I am very pleased. The only issue is that they dont breathe as much as I would like. You can get around that minor issue by wearing thin athletic socks.

This is a top notch shoe...one of the best looking releases of the last year, or even decade, in my opinion. I have always loved the look of Jack Purcells, and these really update the heritage of those in a cool way. They go with almost everything, and people always ask me about them when I wear them. I wear them mostly as casual shoes, and consider the fact that theyre made with current technology and decent support as a bonus. Im not sure how well they perform at a high level, as I wouldnt want to mess them up, so still wear Barricades as my competition shoes. But its nice to have these on vacation, as I can use them to play if unexpected tennis comes up. The fit is fairly flat and wide, with a subtle arch. Those in need of high arch support will probably want to add an after-market insole to them. Overall, very comfortable, though I havent worn them in a tournament or the like. I hope they are continued and not phased out!!!
