Featuring a thinner profile, Dunlop Biomimetic Explosive 17 gives even more impressive power and spin compared to the 16 gauge version. Improving on the previous model of the string, this one shows improved tension maintenance and high resiliency thanks to the new copolymer composition. Explosive is a highly resilient polyester based string, offering a suprising amount of power while maintaining control. As with most polyesters, compared to softer strings, this one will result in a reduced sweetspot size, which is why Dunlop recommends stringing Explosive 10% below normal tension.
