DUNLOP Hexy Fiber Comfort And Spin Biomimetic 17G Tennis String

Due to the thinner diameter, Dunlop Biomimetic Hexy Fiber 17 will generate additional spin at the cost of some durability compared to the thicker, 16 gauge version. This string combines two typically foreign concepts. The combination of multifilament softness and playability has never before been achieved in a geometric string, until now. Hexy Fiber utilizes a soft multifilament core, which is then surrounded by a stiffer, hexagonal shaped layer. The soft core helps to provide elasticity for comfort and power while the hexagon profile allows the string to bite the ball for enhanced spin. The reason for the stiffer outer layer is primarily to ensure that the string is able to hold the geometric shape under tension. As a result this string will play slightly stiffer than a typical multifilament, but with much greater spin potential. This string is designed for the player seeking more spin without sacrificing comfort and power.
