DUNLOP X Life Hybrid 17G Tennis String

One of the more unique string constructions, Dunlop X-Life Hybrid 17g is one of the softest aramid hybrids available. This is due to a hybrid type construction of the main aramid fiber string, which actually utilizes a stand multifilament aramid core, but has two outerwraps of a much softer nylon material typically found on most synthetic gut strings. X-Life Hybrid is still a stiff hybrid due to the aramid main strings, but when put against others, it is a bit softer playing in comparison. The cross string is a standard monofilament with single outerwrap synthetic gut, designed to soften the bed and provide at least a little pop. We feel that this string is definitely suited to strong baseline players that place a premium on durability and want to try something just slightly softer than the typical aramid.
