Now that everyone has had a chance to be introduced to the new Dunlop Biomimetic line, it’s time to talk about a few of the specific products. Today we are talking about the racquet that Jurgen Melzer is set to switch to for 2011. With a scheduled launch of November 1, 2010, the Dunlop players will be switching to their new frames by the Australian Open next year. Jurgen Melzer has been with Dunlop, playing the Aerogel 4D 300 Tour model. With the new line coming in he will have the easiest transition as his racquet of choice will be the Biomimetic 300 Tour.

Since introducing the Dunlop Biomimetic line recently, today we are taking a closer look at probably the most anticipated release, the Dunlop Biomimetic 300. Scheduled to be shown off by the new faces of the Dunlop staff, the new line of Biomimetic racquets will be released on November 1, 2010. The initial release of this line will contain 6 racquets, as well as bags and other accessories. The excitement over this frame might have something to do with Dunlop’s biggest recent signing, Fernando Verdasco, being slated to play it in 2011. In 2010, Verdasco was with Tecnifibre at the Australian Open, tried a short stint with Yonex, and eventually signed with Dunlop.

Dunlop Biomimetic 600 Tennis Racquet Thursday, January 20, 2011

With unveiling the new Dunlop Biomimetic line, the primary interest is in the new series of racquets. The initial release of the Biomimetic line is scheduled for November 1, 2010, and will showcase today’s featured frame, the Dunlop Biomimetic 600. The initial racquet release will be showcased by Dunlop’s Tour Staff at the 2011 Australian Open. The new Dunlop Biomimetic 600 frame is currently seen on tour in the hand of Tommy Robredo, as it has since Wimbledon.

Dunlop Biomimetic 600 Lite Tennis Racquet Thursday, January 20, 2011

The new Dunlop Biomimetic line was introduced a few weeks ago, and since then the primary focus on the line is of course on the racquets. The feature racquet this time is the new Biomimetic 600 Lite, the lightest and most powerful racquet of the initial release line. The new racquets are set to be released on November 1, 2010. The new Biomimetic line, including bags, is set to be shown off by the Dunlop players at the Australian Open in 2011. Sharing a similar name to the Biomimetic 600, the two racquets are designed for very different tennis players.
