Sweet Aramid User: greg, texas If you are looking for a durable string that still offers fairly good playability and is a good price, Sweet Aramid is a good choice. I have used this string in several different racquets and it has been about impossible to break. I string the Mains with the Aramid and the poly for the cross strings. Stringing the cross strings at a higher tension seems to improve playability of the racquet. Based on the cost alone this is a great choice for frequent string breakers to try. It is also a good choice for playing in colder temperatures because it plays about the same hot or cold. It also doesn’t seem to get brittle and isn’t prone to breaking in colder weather.
