Moving into a whole new realm of string creation, Gamma Zo Verve 17 not only uses the co-polyester construction popular in many strings today, but actually combines multiple pieces into one string. The way this works is that the main core of the string is constructed with the popular Zo high energy core for maximum elasticity, feel, and power. This Zo core is colored red for easy recognition between the two materials. The second material, colored black, is an ultra high molecular weight polymer material, which is stiffer and more durable. These two materials are fused so that the stiffer material of Zo Verve creates texture around the central high elasticity core. This texture allows the construction of a string that combines the spin and durability of stiffer polyester strings with the comfort and high power of the Zo core. Our testers found that this string offers its best performance for hard hitting baseliners that place a premium on combining spin and power to dictate points. The higher elasticity helps to offer more feel from the net as well.
