Black Magic leads the pack among co-poly strings today. Offering superb power and control in perfect balance. Makes up for the major flaw most polyester strings have today which is no feel! Black Magic is the answer. Softer than most co-polys, this is a great string for players that are looking for a comfortable poly offering serious punch. Tension maintenance is top notch.
Construction: Co-Polyester Monofliament
Gauge: 17G (1.23mm)

Genesis Black magic 16/17g
User: Nicholas Keith Novak Pelamati, Ca
First time I tried this was in my fischer m comp 95 and man, I never tried anything like it! cupping-ooohh man was topsin fun because of this! punch, snap, control off big cuts and comfort were all major aspects provided by this string. I play with the 17s now because, believe it or not, that set up lasts me almost just as long as the 16s probably due to less friction, and you get a little more playability. I currently play with these in my Aeropro GTs as well, but they work best in ranges of 90sq-98sq inch rackets it seems, response-wise, because of the smaller head. DONT FORGET PRICE $$$

I have been using Genesis Black Magic string for about 2 years. It is one of the best co-polys on the market. I guess I should say for me it is in my opinion the best. I enjoy trying different strings and so far I havent found one I like better than the Black Magic. The first thing I noticed was the softer feel. Every other advantage of Black Magic string was a bonus. I personally prefer the 17g. To anyone looking for a super co-poly I would suggest trying Genesis Black Magic.
Best for the price
User: PJ, TX
This is great poly string. It is half the price of RPM Blast but provides just the same amount of spin and power. It is very easy to string. I prefer it better not to hybrid this string with a syn gut but rather have the full string bed as Black Magic Genesis.
Ol Black Magic

My gold standard budget polyester string!
Black Magic 17
User: Ken West, VA
Ive used numerous polyester strings. Ive used hybrid combinations, Ive play tested at least 30 different strings over the Spring and Summer of 2012. I play an all court style at a 5.5 level. I found many of the poly and co-poly strings to put a bit of a strain on my arm. The Genesis Black Magic 17 was originally purchased because of its price. It was re-purchased because of its performance. I find it maintains its tension I string at 60 lbs on a 6.0 Pro Staff Sampras Signature frame better than any of the other co-poly strings I have tested. It is fairly crisp in its response with a very good ball pocket. It does lack some of the texturing and ball gripping of some of the other strings out there, but in my book, I prefer this level of texturing. Each stringing lasts me roughly 8 to 10 hours of hitting time with a rotation of my rackets, this is superior to some of the more expensive strings out there that seem to go dead before breaking due to wear. For any who do give this s

I tried this string and thought it played very soft for a polyester and had good feel and a lot of power. Much better control that my previous string.
The verdict is in.

Bought a reel of this to test and was pleasantly surprised how well this string performed. Started out stringing at 50lb mains, 48lbs crosses and the power/control are amazing. Serves control and speed were where I especially noticed the difference. Groundstrokes were precise but took a bit of time to get used to this strings since I was coming from a much softer Zyex type co-poly. String as described and reap the benefits of this great product. Black Magic is truly a bang for the buck....I have tried others priced much higher and nothing compares to this string. Truly a Gem for the price. My weapon of choice is a Head You-tek Speed 18x20. If you want your racquet to play better you have to try these strings really. Better performance is just a string job away. No and I dont work for the company. I just know a good product when I use it and get such great results.
Very Nice string
User: Ron, GA
This is a very soft poly with very nice comfort and feel. Lots of power and still pretty good spin potential. Held tension well and was pretty durable. Good price too!
User: Harry Nobel, New York
Very good value. One of the harshest feeling polys Ive used, not too arm friendly. Tension maintenance is not as good as some other polys, gives up some tension in the 1st week but then stays pretty stable. Good durability.
User: Jim, VA
This string is nice and soft and plays very well. Good feel, power and soft.
Best String I ever tried
User: Arnold, MT
I just recently started experimenting with polyester strings and this is one is simply amazing. It offers excellent feel and power as well as durability. At the price, I will be keeping onto this baby for a while.
Genesis Black Magic
User: wilson mcduffie, sc
Tried this as a hybrid with a synthetic. Hit good, good power and control, but it just didn't seem lively enough for me. One of those things where something is recommended and you just have to try it for yourself.
A very good string
User: Aaron, GA
One of the better strings out there offering amazing comfort and feel.
User: Paul, California
The Black Magic strings are very comfortable. They are cheap and have pretty good durability. They offer a nice kick and have excellent power.
TRUE MAGIC ...
User: Fred Shlesinger, Tx
For the price this string is truly magic! I have tried the Babolat RPM Blast, and for the money (2/3 less than the Blast) the Genesis Black Magic string is a great value. I play 4 times a week at a 4.0 level, and I am a hard hitter. The string gives me plenty of "pop" along with razor like control for all of my spin. At the price, or even twice the price this string is really "magic".
User: Kumeil , NY
This string makes hitting through the court from the baseline easy.
Very Nice String
User: Landon, AZ
This string is very good. I have tried many different types of polys out there and would have to say this one is among the top 3 out there. Great comfort and feel with good control and spin.
You get what you pay for
User: Javier, CA
This string was good for the price. However, my arm has been suffering ever since I strung my stick with it. The power on these strings is OK, However, you do get a lot of feel with these strings which is good for doubles, but not so good for singles. Good string but not for me.
Does the job
User: Joshua, GA
I recently strung my radical with 17g rpm blasts and really liked them. I then noticed these strings and thought I'd give them a shot. I was really impressed with the pop I got from these strings. I would recommend these to anyone thinking about going to this type of string.
