GENESIS Twisted Razor 16L Reel Tennis String

I purchased this string in a pinch on a recommendation from a coach. So far so good!

The Razor performs as others have typically said -- great spin, good control, nice durability. Im a hard all court player with serves occasionally topping over 100 MPH. It offers lots of GS spin options, but also does flat power just fine. Plays as well as any hybrid textured mix Ive tried. Service accuracy provides challenging body blows to pin point T and edge aces. I especially like the action off power chop slices that rise over the net, only to fade near the baseline for a difficult return, followed perhaps by a challenging heavy deep top spin... Kind of fun, as long as youre dishing it out and not trying to deal with it when you loan your racket to your hard hitting son...

This is the second reel Im on now and for a racquet stringer its easy to work with. It comes off the reel almost straight and does not bind or tangle during the pull throughs. With a constant-pull tensioner there is only one small stretch and its done. In a reel and a half I have had zero snapped strings in the racquets Ive strung. My friends and I all agree it puts incredible bite on the ball and wears great with little or no stretching even after several months of four to five plays per week. I use it soley in the mains with a synthetic gut in the crosses at a pound and a half or two less tension. It is an awesome string and a great value.

This string feels stiff, however it has very good spin potential. This string grips the ball well, tension maintenance is great too. Played 6+ hours and the didnt feel much tension change. For those who has no arm problems, you should give this Twisted Razor a try.
