HEAD FXP 16g

I HAVE FOUND THIS SET OF STRINGS TO BE AVERAGE. THE TENSION TA WHICH THE RAQUET WAS STRUNG COULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE HIGHER FOR MY TASTE. I CANT JUDGE DURABILITY YET HOWEVER I HAVE HAD THEM BEFORE ON A WILSON STEAM, AND THEY PROVE TO LAST IN GOOD CONDITION FOR FOUR MONTHS PLAYING SIX TO TEN HOURS WEEKLY AT THE ALTITUDE OF N.Y.

I am fairly new into Tennis, so getting a racquet restrung was not something I knew was necessary. However after advice from a few Tennis players I decided to do it. I decided on this string mainly based on the recommendation of the staff at Tennis Express. I gave them some insight into my tennis game average at best and they recommended this string to me. After some follow up questions, string tension etc I got the work done. My first impressions were really good, not sure if its in my head or not but I feel I have much better control of the ball now. I feel there is much better control on my top spin, back spin shots etc. I feel more confident in my ability to get a little crazy with my racquet and still be able to make shots. The only downside Id say is I do feel there is a lack of power. I admit this may be a mental thing, but I do feel it requires much more effort than before to hit and see power from that shot. Ultimately at this point in my game Id prefer more control

Great product! Realy makes a difference with just enouth power and gread fill. Excellent versatility. I am much more comfortable to come to the net and volley using this string, and able to generate a lots of top spin when I need to.

the string strength is great but dont like how it moves after a slice n tension drops after flat heavy hits

For the price, these strings are good with decent control and comfort. Also the durability is good too

I hybrid these fxp and sonic pro. I have never had so much control.
