A favorite of players seeking a light weight oversize tweener racquet with solid control and power, the Head Flexpoint 1 OS features a 110 sq. in. headsize in a very maneuverable frame. Featuring the unique Flexpoint Technology, which is essentially two small holes that are drilled through the frame at the side positions. The idea is that these holes allow the racquet to flex around these holes instead of from the throat area. The advantage of this technology is that the player experiences maximum repulsion, with enhanced control. The Flexpoint 1 OS continues to use the Liquidmetal technology, which gives the racquet a larger sweetspot and more power vs. previous technologies. The Liquidmetal material is placed primarily at the four corners of the racquet, which also helps to stabilize the racquet through the hitting zone. Overall, this racquet swings through the air extremely easily, and provides a nice touch of controlled pop. Recommended for intermediate level players seeking a forgiving sweetspot in a quick, agile racquet.
