HEAD Youtek Graphene Speed Rev Tennis Racquet
$189.95 - Buy 2 or more $179.95 each.
Head’s revolutionary Graphene technology debuts in an ultra-lightweight frame in the new Graphene Speed Rev. Replacing last year’s Speed Lite, the Graphene Speed Rev is a perfect choice for players with slower swings desiring extra power. By using graphene – the world’s lightest and strongest material – in the racquet shaft, Head has been able to move weight from the shaft to the tip and handle, increasing power and stability without changing overall racquet mass (more weight in the head provides greater plow through from the baseline, and more mass in the handle reduces torque and recoil). Reducing weight by almost a full ounce compared to the Speed S, the lighter weight helps players needing just a little more maneuverability and racquet speed, while the 22mm beams (2mm less than the Speed Lite) and 100 square inch head size allow for control of that extra speed. An open 16x19 pattern increases spin production and power. YouTek technology's “cross-linking” abilities stabilize the frame on faster swings and create more feel on touch shots. Available in a size “0” (4 inch) grip, the Speed Rev is a great choice for juniors and women. The reduced weight with extra mass in the handle should make the Graphene Speed Rev a net player’s delight, as most ultra-light frames have too much mass in the head to maneuver well at net. Doubles players with slower swings should also consider the Head Graphene Speed Rev to help them “rev up” their games.
