HEAD Youtek IG Radical Pro Tennis Racquet

Overall, I am in love with my new Youtek! I did a lot of research and cross comparison before picking a new racquet, and the Youtek Radical Pro performs exactly as advertised: A perfect blend of power and control. I am an all-court player, and while I like hitting from the baseline I will approach the net to finish points. With this racquet I get plenty of pop on my forhand and backhand, yet still have enough control for beautiful drop shots and approach shots moving in. When Im at the net, the smaller head size and thin beam also make the racquet super maneuverable, which makes volleying that much easier. Ultimately, the Youtek Radical Pro is a compromise of features that come together to make a very versatile racquet. Not too heavy, not too lite. Not too stiff, not too flexible. Not too large, not too small. If you are looking for a racquet that has something to offer for your game everywhere on the court, definitely give the Radical Pro a try.

I am coming off the Aeropro Team which is a pretty stiff racket. It had good spin and good power but not enough control it seemed like. So i went to look for a head size a little smaller. This racket performed great. It took a while to get used to but once i did it was great. Good power from the base line. Generate a lot of top spin and when you come to net a lot of touch and feel with this racket. I strung this with RPM Blast at 56 pounds and with the flex on this racket there was no problem on my tennis elbow. i wouldnt recommend this racket to a big hitter simply because you will lose control due to the flex of this racket. This would suit someone with a control and spin orientated game that likes to hit dorp shots and approach the net when needed. Over all really liked this racket.

This is a great raquet, excelent balance and provides great control over the ball.

Great all around racquet. Good feel, good control, good weight, and added power. Tried both the IG Radical Pro new and the non-IG Radical Pro 2011. The IG version offers a better swing, lighter/but solid contact, great for all around the court, esp. in doubles. The non-IG Radical Pro 2011 offers more power and shot penetration, esp. in singles.

I was looking for more power and penetration of my shots and I switched to this Head racket to obtain what I needed.

I changed over from the Dunlop 300 to the rad pro Since it has a different weighting and power level, it took a week to get used to. After adjusting I love it! Great feel at net. Serving control and power are excellent Ground stokes from baseline are hard and accurate Need to swing hard since the power is not high Also I would like to try it with 17s or 18s to compare performance and spin Highly recommended

Love the racquet! Very Aerodynamic and smooth when hitting. I compared this with several others such as: HEAD Instinct HEAD Youtek Speed Babolat Aero Pro Drive Babolat Roddick Wilson Pro Staff This was by far the easiest to hit with. I loved the Aero Pro drive too but it does tax the shoulder and elbow some. The RED looks bloody good no pun intended!

i got a lot of free power from this racquet. i really wanted to pick my spots when i play tennis and this this racquet allowed me to be very precise.

Switched to this Racquet from the Pure Storm+ GT, best decision ever, the control is great and the extra pop is amazing, really let me put more spin on my serve and only took about 1 set to break in the strings. This racquet with Alien Black Diamond 16g strings at 54lbs makes the ball feel like butter when you hit it.

Shipping was fast, and the racquet performs very well. I used 60lb tension strings and the racquet is working great! Grip length is very comfortable. I recommend a dampener but its fantastic once you get used to it.
