HEAD Youtek Six Star Tennis Racquet

I purchased this racket for myself and had to loan it to my wife one day when her strings broke. I did not get it back for a few weeks. She had a Head 3 star which was lighter for her but fell in love with the stabilty and control of the six star. Now we both have six stars and could not be happier. I demod many racquets but no others had what this racquet has!

I just bought this racket after trying about 10 different rackets. I really like the feel of it. My ground strokes feel solid and I have increased power. My volleys are crisp and clean. Serves are really good, as well. The only part of my game where I feel I am still getting used to the racket are my lobs. I really have to put a lot of top spin, so they don't fly off the court.

As a 3.0 player coming off the injury list, I have been skeptical of claims that new equipment would help my game. Hey, we all know guys who believe they would become two-putt golfers with the right club. With this racquet, though, Im coming around. It provides superior control which is important because I'm still rebuilding mobility and added strength to serves and forehand shots, compensating a bit for my later arrival at the ball. During lessons, volleys are long and increasingly powerful. Serves are more accurate, with more bounce when I want it. In short, not a racquet that will play the game for me, but one that is helping me play my best game.

Love my HEAD Youtek Six Star Tennis Racquet! Both me and my teaching pro can see the improvement in my shots. I am a 3.5 trying to get to a 4.0 and I believe this racquet will help me get there. Great balance of control and power. My serve, which was already good, went to great as I can place the ball in the service box with better accuracy and have even more aces per game than I ever did before. Generous sweetspot does help with hurried balls I happen to hit off center. Highly recommend this racquet!
