Innegrity LLC developed a fiber called Innegra originally for use by the surfboard industry. This melt-spun fiber exhibits very low density and high modulus. Exhibiting high toughness and unique flex characteristics, the fiber is integrated into the graphite matrix to increase the strength of the frame for greater stability and less vibration. Innegra fibers exhibit this incredible strength while being lighter than glass, carbon, and aramid.
