RETURNS & WARRANTIES: Returning Tennis Racquets
We take returns for exchange or credit on racquets within thirty days of being purchased provided that the racquet has not been played with. There may be no ball fuzz in the strings, signs of wear on the bumper guard, and the plastic cannot have been removed from the handle. All returns or exchanges will be made minus string and labor charges on racquets strung by Tennis Express.
We also ask that you provide us with proof of purchase. If you have lost your receipt or invoice, call us at 713-781-4848 so that we can verify that you purchased the racquet from us. If the order was the error of Tennis Express, we will give credit for string and shipping charges.
All racquets sold by Tennis Express have a one-year manufacturer’s warranty on them. However, replacement is at the manufacturer’s discretion, and any frames that show signs of abuse may not be replaced. Also, many manufacturers ask that the racquets not be returned directly from the consumer, but rather through the retailer that the racquet was sold from. Therefore, in order to return a broken racquet to a manufacturer, ship it to us, along with $8 (for shipping costs to the manufacturer). We will ship it to the manufacturer for you.
You may choose to purchase a new tennis racquet while your defective racquet is being considered for replacement. If your racquet is replaced, you will be credited for its current selling price.
If the manufacturer decides not to replace the racquet, the racquet will be returned to you along with an explanation from the manufacturer.
