Babolat Pure Drive Tennis Racquet

I was very pleased with the overall performance of the Babolat Pure Drive, the light weight, and open string pattern are perfect for aggressive players.

Groundstrokes
Thanks to its 100 sq head size, it allowed me to really accelerate through the ball without having to worry about framing the ball. It felt effortless to add either top spin or under spin from the baseline, and made it easy for me to hit my second serve with a ton of kick without having to put any stress on my shoulder.

Volleys
At the net the Pure Drive offered great response, control, and maneuverability. Again, I needed little or no effort to keep the ball in play, and hit my targets as I pleased with both my volleys and overheads.

Serves
The only downfall for me is that since it has a very open string pattern, and I play with a ton of spins (top spin, kick, and slice) I would be popping strings every other day. I would recommend this racquet for the 3.5+ NTRP level players.

Overall
Overall I would rate the Babolat New Pure Drive as followed (Scale 1-10, 10 being the highest and 1 being the lowest):

Serve: 9

Ground Strokes: 8.5

Volleys: 9

Overhead: 9.5

Feel: 9

Control: 9.5

Power: 8.5
