Head Teflon Grommets Racquet Technology

Compared to conventional grommets in which friction is present between the grommet and the string providing some degree of resistance during ball impact resulting in energy loss and less power. The Head Teflon grommets have a friction reducing polymer which provides a low-friction contact surface enabling the strings to move through the grommets with little to no friction at all resulting in the strings maintaining full energy upon contact, providing players more power.

While stringing, the Teflon friction reducing polymer in the grommet makes for more even and consistent tension. This in turn takes away friction allowing truer tension and larger sweetspot!
