The K-Swiss Glaciator is a feature from K-Swiss which utilizes revolutionary technology to keep you feet cool and ventilated. Featured in this shoe is the Fautex moisture management technology which is found in the lining to keep your feet as cool as a, well you know, glacier. Another technology found in this premiere shoe is the Heat Deflection Core, which is designed to keep court-surface heat away from your feet. Together these elements are sure to put your opponents on ice, and allow you to bring some serious heat onto the courts.
The length and width fit for this shoe are excellent, and it has an out of the box, ready to go comfort. The heel and mid-foot have a generous fit and are very stable. While the arch support is medium, it offers plenty of comfort and a cushioned ride. This shoe has a minimal break-in period. DuraFlow uppers combine mesh with a durable poly/nylon covering to create a lightweight, stable, and ventilated shoe. This shoe offers excellent traction, partly due to the herringbone outsole, as lateral movement and changing directions was effortless. Even under extensive testing, this shoe showed hardly any sign of premature wear, and the DragGuard in the toe and heel areas provided excellent support and increased durability. An added bonus was the Shock Spring in the heel and fore-foot which was cushioned very well, allowing for extra protection and plenty of maneuverability.
All in all, the K-Swiss Glaciator is an well-built and fluid design. As the name suggests, it does an excellent job of keeping your feet dry and cool. It offers great traction, durability, and support. The K-Swiss Glaciator is well integrated with the Fautex moisture management and Heat Deflection Core technology. This shoe is great for any woman looking for a shoe that will keep her feet dry and well ventilated, while not lacking in performance or comfort. |
