The Head Flexpoint Prestige truly lives up to its name. It is a racquet that offers a plethora of benefits to players. Like former versions, the Flexpoint Prestige offers exceptional feel and control. As with other Flexpoint racquets, the Prestige features Liquidmetal and Total Sweetspot Construction. The Head C.A.P (Computer Aided Protection) grommet system is also included. However it is modified to accommodate the Flexpoint System.
On courts, the Head Flexpoint Prestige is a solid addition to one’s arsenal. With the Prestige groundstrokes were easily implemented and executed. The Prestige offers great control, and offered depth and easy access to spin. Slices and drop shots are hit easily and accurately with this racquet. At the net the Prestige has a nice solid feel to it. The head-light balance made it feel quick in my hands and the crisp response offered great string bed feedback. It is an excellent weapon in the hands of an aggressive net player. For me, the greatest asset to the Prestige, was its ability to let me hit consistent serves. Bottom line: The FP Prestige offered a solid and control oriented response. It is definitely a racquet for players seeking control.
All in all, the Flexpoint Prestige is a great weapon for players wishing to add a little more control in their game. The Head Flexpoint Prestige offers a surprising amount of pop for a mid racquet, and is a great demo choice for previous fans of the Prestige. |
