The improved sweet spot is not only forgiving but offers plenty of power for groundstrokes. For forehands and backhands alike, the racquet offers comfort and a dampened feel at impact. This racquet also features the Speedport Tuning System, which allows players to customize their grommet depending on their play. We found that this system coupled with the Speedports gave our groundstokes plenty of pop and we were able to put a hefty amount of spin on the ball.  When at the net, we found plenty of pop from our volleys, and we were offered depth and precision with the O3 Speedport Black. The racquet had a solid feel and was very stable, allowing for great serves and volleys. On my serve, I felt that the racquet was very easy to handle and very impressive. I was able to add kick and slice to my serves with ease, and all my shots were hit with a crisp feel.

            All in all, the O3 Speedport Black is a great addition to any tennis player’s arsenal. Great for baselining and serve and volleying, it is a wonder to play with. With the new STS system, players can change their racquet to their play style and benefit from its many advantages. The improved sweet spot and 16/19 string pattern makes this racquet fairly forgiving. I highly recommend this racquet for improving to advanced level players. This racquet is a treasure trove of spin and power waiting for a player to unlock its potential, and is highly worth a demo.
