| The Wilson Wildcard is a must have item for any tennis player. Coming in a plethora of colors, the Wilson Wildcard uses innovative technologies to improve the overall feel of the shoe. The shoe fits like a glove, and comes out of the box, ready to go with a minimal required break in period. The shoe is comfortable and expertly built using lightweight synthetic leather and breathable Air-Mesh. A sock-fit tongue, integrated TPU eye-stay, and medial studs gave my feet the comfort and stability needed on court. The Wilson Wildcard also sports the Wilson DST O2 Heel Cushioning system and the Cushion Core Forefoot, which allows for optimum comfort and maximum support. Outlying this shoe is the Duralast Supreme, which contains a durable rubber compound in a multi-surface herringbone tread pattern.
The Wilson Wildcard is a great shoe overall. It is useful for any physical activity from tennis to such tasks as a nice leisurely stroll. The comfort has a supple feel, and on the courts the shoes are fast and agile. The support in the heel, arch, and upper area is excellent for club players and casual players alike. The material however is a little thin, and some tour level players might burn through this material. Likewise returning, chasing down difficult shots, lateral, and torsonal movements are easy and effortless.
The Wildcard is an excellent shoe, and has a great variety of color. I would highly recommend this shoe for the casual player as it is very comfortable and comes in many styles. It is stable, and well ventilated, however while it is durable, it is not as durable as some tour level players may need. However in terms of comfort, stability, and maneuverability the Wildcard is in a league of its own.
